Mackenzie's Roost

"Small but perfectly formed" one bedroom flat in stunning location by the Forth Bridges.

Situated by the waterside on the banks of the River Forth in the historic village of North Queensferry, Fife, yet only 20 minutes by rail or road from Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh. The historic towns of Dunfermline, St Andrews and Stirling are all less than an hour away by car. The only Scottish sea link to Europe at Rosyth is just 5 minutes away by car, as is access to the Scottish motorway network. Edinburgh International Airport is 20 minutes by car.

The accommodation "MacKenzie's Roost" has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and comprises entrance hall, fully fitted and extensively equipped kitchen, double/twin bedroom, living room with dining area, balcony with seating and breathtaking views over the waters edge. The accommodation benefits from full gas central heating, living flame gas fire and full double glazing. The recently fitted shower room has a power shower, wc and wash basin, all with high quality European fixtures and fittings. On street parking is usually available.

Within the village there are two licensed hotels and a number of other establishments providing a wide variety of menus, a local village shop and a number of larger supermarkets a short distance away. The local Tourist Information Centre is located in a third Hotel on the outskirts of the village (10 minutes on foot). Guests have a choice of "the city experience" (the village station is only 5 minutes on foot so take the train) or perhaps a more leisurely pace walking the local stretch of the Fife Coastal Path or the Lomond Hills. Or why not try some sailing, off road cycling or play some of the best golf courses in the world. Or sit back, relax and watch the tide ebb and flow.

MacKenzie's Roost is ideally located and has lots to offer for all tastes and ages so give us a ring and we'll try to accommodate your aspirations.
